Meet Patrick

Swiss-born.
Costa Rican by choice.

Patrick arrived in Costa Rica from Switzerland in 2005 and never really stopped exploring. An outdoor enthusiast and certified tour guide, he has spent more than two decades discovering the country's mountains, jungles, volcanoes, wildlife and remote corners.

What began as a passion became his vocation: sharing the Costa Rica he knows with travelers who want to experience more than the usual highlights.

With Patrick, there is no standard itinerary to follow. He can take a family wildlife spotting and waterfall hunting for the day, lead experienced hikers deep into the jungle, or build a multi-day journey across Costa Rica from one coast to the other.
